Fishing Funds the Cure

Each year, we bring together corporate partners, passionate anglers, and dedicated supporters for Fishing Funds the Cure Tournaments, where we unite for a shared cause – raising funds and awareness to fight pediatric cancer, through an activity that brings us all together! Our exciting inshore and freshwater fishing tournaments are hosted in scenic locations like St. Pete Beach and Sarasota, Florida, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and more! These events are carefully curated with our supporters in mind, featuring a kick-off celebration, angler swag bags, an awards dinner, and a silent auction, all aimed at making a difference.

Fish for Kids Like Jake

Jake Mulvihill was a kid that loved fishing. At age six, Jake started to experience seizures. Doctors discovered a benign tumor in Jake’s brain which they began to monitor. At age 13, Jake’s tumor became malignant and he was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer.

Jake went through seven brain surgeries, weekly chemo, and 25 rounds of radiation. He never gave up. Jake did what he had to do to keep fighting, and he did it with a smile and thumbs up. On March 19, 2020, cancer took over.

Jake may have lost his battle with cancer, but his strength and optimism inspire the 43 children diagnosed with cancer every day, to fight and never give up.

We carry on his memory through Fishing Funds the Cure.
