Meet Mae! She is nine years old and battled Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma.

When Mae was seven, a PE accident at school led to the discovery of her malignant muscle tissue cancer. As a result, she has endured 43 weeks of chemotherapy and six weeks of proton radiation therapy. Now in remission, she still requires scans every three months to monitor her progress. 

Mae is a sensitive, kind, and quirky girl with her own unique style. Don’t be surprised if you find her wearing a dress with her favorite boots or Crocs. 

Mae loves that her hair grew back curly after chemotherapy and says it gives her a funky new appearance to match her funky personality!

Madison was recently in our 2022 Houston Fashion Funds the Cure event and walked the runway during her Dream Walk as a Singer!
