Meet Avalon! She is five years old and battled Hepatoblastoma.

Shortly after Avalon’s second birthday, doctors discovered she had an aggressive liver cancer, hepatoblastoma. Along with her mom and grandma, Avalon relocated from California to Boston for treatment in a clinical trial designed to reduce the side effects of chemotherapy in children.

Before being diagnosed with cancer, Avalon also had two open heart surgeries within the first year of her life because she was born with a heart defect.

Despite all of this, Avalon is an absolute joy to have around, and she radiates sunshine wherever she goes. She is very musical and can play twinkle twinkle little star on a real piano!

Avalon was recently in our 2022 King of Prussia Fashion Funds the Cure event and walked the runway during her Dream Walk as a Doctor.
