Making Every Rally Count

DUPR is teaming up with the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation (NPCF) to bring the pickleball community together for a cause bigger than the game: funding research that gives kids with cancer a fighting chance.

Pediatric cancer research receives a fraction of the funding of adult cancers — yet it remains the leading cause of death by disease for children in the U.S. NPCF is changing that, funding innovative, collaborative research through their Sunshine Research Consortium, the largest pediatric cancer research initiative of its kind.

Now, the DUPR community is stepping onto the court to help fund the cure — one match, one dink, one fundraiser at a time.

About the Partnership

Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in the country, built on community, connection, and showing up for each other. That spirit is exactly what pediatric cancer research needs right now.

Through Pickleball Funds the Cure, DUPR is turning that energy into impact — mobilizing millions of players and corporate partners nationwide to raise funds, raise awareness, and rally around kids and families fighting pediatric cancer.

140.6 Miles. One Mission.

DUPR CEO Tito Machado is taking on IRONMAN Lanzarote in May 2027, bringing the pickleball community together along the way to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research.

The 140.6-mile race – a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike and 26.2-mile run – will serve as the storytelling centerpiece of a much larger mission: bringing together DUPR’s community of more than 2 million players and users, along with clubs, coaches, pros, creators, industry partners and the broader pickleball community, to make a meaningful impact in the fight against pediatric cancer.

One Person’s Race. One Community’s Cause.

“This is so much bigger than crossing a finish line. I’m taking on 140.6 miles, but the real challenge we’ve set for ourselves is bringing the pickleball community together in support of pediatric cancer research,” said Tito Machado, CEO of DUPR. “We have an incredible community behind DUPR, and I believe we can show what happens when all of us rally around something bigger than the sport.”
