On April 27, 2017 Jackson was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer. He had been having leg pain for months. We thought he had a pulled groin, growing pains, hip issues, strength issues, rolled ankles. I wish we could have fixed his problems with physical therapy. I wish the xray he had 3 months earlier had shown something that would have made them order more tests. I wish we knew the truth months earlier, before the cancer had spread. His chances of beating it would have been so much better.

He endured 30 rounds of chemo and 63 radiation treatments. Through it all he never lost his smile and remained positive. He was a great brother to Charlie and William, an amazing son and great friend to everyone!

On April 15, 2020 after 3 years of battling, Jackson left us just after 2am at 15 years old. He has no more pain or struggle. He was incredibly brave and strong.  We will miss him desperately.

We know that Jackson would want to continue to help other kids diagnosed with cancer and to help find a cure. In Jackson’s honor please consider donating to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation. Every donation made in his honor will directly fund sarcoma research.

Thank you to all of you who continue to reach out, support and pray for us. We appreciate it more than we can express.
