January 28, 2021, should be Tera Lynn Schoeneck-Yatskar’s 36th birthday. Initially diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2017, Tera bravely fought for over 3 years – teaching all of us how to live every day to the fullest with style, humor, and grace. Tragically, this angel lost her battle in September 2020 due to treatment induced acute leukemia – leaving far too soon after a mere 35 years with us as a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, dog mom, and friend.
Tera’s 3-year battle with cancer built a deep passion in her for supporting organizations that are involved in cancer research and helping cancer patients and their families in financial need, especially children. In her honor, we ask that you donate in her name to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to research and clinical trials to find less toxic, more effective treatments for childhood cancer, the deadliest disease amongst children.
Cancer can be so cruel, but it is possibly the cruelest and utmost devastating to the youngest and most vulnerable amongst us. Tera was the brightest of lights with the kindest of hearts and we can think of no better way to honor her than to raise money for the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
Please donate in her name today.
